riday, July 15, 2016 (Edgewater, New Jersey) – – International restaurateur Gokhan Cakmak is proud to announce the opening of Hudson Mediterranean Grill located just beside the Hudson River in the borough of Edgewater, New Jersey. Mr. Cakmak, the former CEO of Simit & Smith Bakery, a popular chain with locations in New York City, New Jersey, Washington, DC, Toronto, Canada, and Istanbul Turkey, has launched his newest venture featuring authentic Mediterranean cuisine prepared with no chemicals, no genetically modified organisms (GMO’s) and made only with halal meats from local suppliers.
udson Mediterranean Grill is a contemporary restaurant that boasts a Greek chef known for preparing delicious recipes such as Grilled Turkish Meatballs, Free-Range Chicken Kebabs, fresh seafood, Lamb Brochettes and specialty appetizers such as Hummus, Babaganoush, and Stuffed Grape Leaves, just to name a few. The restaurant is currently open for lunch and dinner and will open for breakfast in September. The restaurant has fast free delivery and caters for all occasions.

r. Cakmak brings almost twenty years of experience in the restaurant industry and has operated establishments in the United States, Russia, China, Turkey, and Holland. Originally from Istanbul, Turkey, Mr. Cakmak honed his skills as a General Manager for multiple food venues including Le Pain Quotidien, Savann French and Mediterranean Bistro and he was the previously owner of Peri Wine Bar and Restaurant in New York City.
